P1 is a product that was introduced about 2 years ago by F. W. Filtration and The East Riding Koi Co were one of the very first companies in the United Kingdom to try this product ..  Unlike other pond sealants P1 is water based and comes as a two pack product which is extremely easy to mix ... once mixed it can be applied by Brush or Roller to the walls of the pond and it can be applied to even damp surfaces - again unlike most of the other products available - after just half an hour the curing process will have started and even if it rains it will not destroy or ruin the work already completed ... and one of the most amazing features of P1 apart, of course, of providing you with a super smooth waterproof coating to the pond walls, is the fact that you only need to use two coats of P1 (again unlike some other products where colour finish is required and you need to apply four coats) to give you the finish you desire, but if you wish you can continue to apply the second coat on the following day .... try that with another well known product ...
