The latest Fluval to be produced by Hagan is the Fluval U. This stylish new design – simply stands for Underwater Filter but with a differance. So what’s new I hear you say……..well what’s new and different about this particular Fluval Filter although it stands alone as a superb filter unit, it has a unique three way choice out put.

Top, middle and bottom, because of this it also makes it a great supplemental filter to compliment any filtration system that you may already have in place, be it freshwater, brackish or marine………it can act as a very low power head creating flow for the bottom, middle or top swimmers – depending on where they like the flow…..but not just the flow, don’t forget you are also running filtration……….

This also makes them the ideal filter for any reptile vivarium as the flow can be directed from either the top, the middle or the bottom. The bottom flow option can be used in a lizard bathing pool or a turtle swimming ‘pond’. It ensures that your pet has clean uncontaminated conditions. For all three options in an aquarium this gives you the ideal conditions for flow – depending on what sort of aquarium dwellers you keep.
